Focus PARALANE 6.8

The 2020 Focus PARALANE 6.8 is a versatile road bike that stands out for its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from 7005 hydroformed aluminium and, with its disc brakes, BSA bottom bracket and 142x12 mm thru-axle, provides a stable and reliable foundation. The integration of RAT Evo technology, along with the internal routing of brake and gear cables, ensures a clean look and improved aerodynamics. The grips are wrapped in Focus Bartape SL, which provides additional comfort. The stem is a BBB Rider BHS-109 with a diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 7 degrees, which aids steering precision.

The bike is fitted with Vittoria Zaffiro Pro tyres in size 700 x 28C, which are foldable and have a width of 28 mm, providing a good balance between speed and comfort. The wheelset consists of 28" Shimano WH-RS171 wheels with a disc centre-lock mounting and aluminium rims with an internal width of 19 mm.

The saddle is the Focus Race SL model, mounted on a BBB Basic aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 350 mm. Curana C-Lite mudguards are fitted for extra protection in wet conditions.
