FLYER Upstreet5 7.23 HS Automatiq

The “Upstreet5 7.23 HS Automatiq” model from FLYER, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike which, at a price of 6,049 EUR, falls into the premium price range. The bike’s frame is designed in a comfort style, which ensures a comfortable and ergonomic riding position.

The bike is fitted with Magura MT4e hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable braking performance. The brake levers are made from Magura Carbotecture, a lightweight and robust material. A 203 mm Magura MDR-C brake disc is fitted at the front and an 180 mm disc at the rear.

The Upstreet5 7.23 HS Automatiq is geared via the Enviolo TR Automatiq system with a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt drive, which is renowned for its durability and low maintenance. The gears are controlled via the FIT Remote.

The SR Suntour Mobie25 coil suspension fork, with 75 mm of travel and a 15 x 100 mm axle, ensures comfortable suspension on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Busch & Müller IQ-X front light and the Supernova M99 Tail Light 45 rear light, ensuring good visibility in road traffic.

The bike is fitted with FLYER Wellgo pedals, whilst the bottom bracket is integrated into the drive unit. The Samox EC40 crankset, with a length of 170 mm, and a Gates CDX sprocket with 55 teeth complete the drivetrain, which is supported by a Gates CDX belt with 128 teeth.

The Kalloy HB-TR2 handlebars have a 25-degree angle and a width of 640 mm, ensuring a comfortable hand position. The grips are FLYER Comfort grips. The stem is made from FLYER aluminium and is tilt-adjustable to allow for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The FLYER Disc rims are fitted with Schwalbe Big Ben tyres in size 28 x 2.15, which ensure stability and comfort. The front hub is a Bear Pawls BMT-003 and the rear an Enviolo TR CVP, both fitted with 32 spokes.

The Selle Royal Essenza+ Moderate saddle, together with the FLYER aluminium seat post, provides a comfortable riding position. The saddle is secured using a Castello SPF3 bk clamp. Mudguards from SunnyWheel and a Pletscher Comp 40 Flex kickstand complete the specification.

An Abus Shield 5650L lock with the YourPlus single-key system ensures the bike’s security. The luggage rack is a FLYER Racktime with an integrated spring-loaded flap.

Power is provided by a Panasonic GX Ultimate HS motor, which is powered by a FLYER SIB-750 battery (750 Wh / 20.1 Ah / 36 V). The 3.5-inch FIT D1 display shows all key information in colour. A FLYER Fast Charger with an output of 6A at 36V ensures the battery charges quickly.
