FLYER Upstreet5 5.10

The "Upstreet5 5.10" model from the FLYER brand from 2023 is a versatile e-bike that is suitable for both daily commuting and longer excursions. With a price tag of 3199 EUR, it offers solid equipment and high-quality components. The frame is made of aluminium and the total permissible weight is 150 kg, while the bike itself weighs 29 kg. It is designed for riders between 175 cm and 185 cm tall.

The braking system of the Upstreet5 5.10 is fully equipped with Shimano MT402, including the brake levers and brake discs, which have a diameter of 180 mm at the front and rear. Shifting is via the Shimano Alivio SL-M3100 gear lever with 9 gears, which enables precise and reliable gear selection. The SR Suntour Mobie A32 coil fork with a suspension travel of 75 mm ensures comfort on uneven roads.

For lighting, the bike is equipped with a Busch & Müller IQ-Myc front light and a Busch & Müller 2C rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark. The pedals are from FLYER Wellgo, while the crankset is from Samox EC40. The crankset is a Shimano CS-HG400 Alivio with a gradation of 11-36t.

The handlebars of the Upstreet5 5.10 are a Kalloy HB-TR2 with a width of 640 mm, a rise of 50 mm and a backsweep of 25 degrees. The adjustable stem has a length of 95 mm and an angle of 20 degrees. The rims are FLYER Disc, combined with Schwalbe Big Ben tyres and DT Swiss Champion spokes. The hubs are Shimano Alivio models, HB-MT400 at the front and FH-M4050 at the rear.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola, mounted on a FLYER Alloy seat post. Additional equipment includes SunnyWheel mudguards, a Pletscher Comp 40 Flex kickstand and an ABUS Shield 5650L lock. The pannier rack is a FLYER Racktime with spring cap.

The e-bike is powered by a Panasonic GX Ultimate motor, fed by a FLYER SIB 630 battery with a capacity of 630 Wh. The FIT D0 display provides all the necessary information on a 2-inch colour display. The charger is a FLYER Charger with an output of 4A at 36V.

The geometry of the frame offers a comfortable riding position with a reach of 408 mm, a stack of 678 mm and a seat tube length of 510 mm. The head tube angle is 71 degrees, the seat tube angle is 73 degrees, the chainstay length is 492 mm and the wheelbase is 1159 mm. The bottom bracket height measures 305 mm, which, together with the other dimensions, offers a good balance between stability and agility.
