FLYER Gotour4 5.01R

The “Gotour4 5.01R” model from FLYER, released in 2022, is an e-bike that epitomises comfort and reliability. Priced at 3,949 EUR, it is aimed at discerning riders who value quality and functionality. The Comfort frame ensures a comfortable riding position and is ideal for leisurely rides. The Shimano BR-MT400 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with the Shimano BL-MT402 brake levers, provide reliable braking performance in a variety of weather conditions.

At the front, the bike is fitted with a 180 mm Shimano SM-RT26 brake disc, whilst at the rear, the Shimano Nexus Coaster is fitted with a 160 mm disc. Gear changes are handled by an 8-speed Shimano Nexus Coaster, controlled via the Shimano SL-C6000-8 gear lever. Additional comfort is provided by the SR Suntour NCX fork with 50 mm of travel, which effectively absorbs bumps in the road.

The lighting comprises the Busch & Müller IQ-Myc front light and the Busch & Müller 2C rear light, which ensure good visibility and safety on the road. The FLYER Wellgo pedals and the Samox EC40 crankset, with a length of 165 mm, together with a Samox NWP203 chainring with 38 teeth, complete the drivetrain. The Shimano Nexus sprocket has 18 teeth and is paired with a SRAM PC-870 chain.

The handlebars are FLYER Cruise, 620 mm wide and with a 44° angle, allowing for a relaxed riding position. The grips are also by FLYER and offer a high level of comfort. The stem is a Speedlifter Twist, which is adjustable for height and angle to further improve ergonomics.

The bike rides on FLYER FR21 rims, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres in size 26 x 1.75 (47-559), which ensure good grip and durability. The front hub is a Shimano Alivio HB-M4050 with 32 spokes, and the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001-8CD, also with 32 spokes. The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola, mounted on a FLYER Cushy Suspension seatpost, which offers extra comfort.

Other features include SKS A60A mudguards, a Pletscher Comp 40 Flex kickstand, and the Abus Shield 5650L lock with the YourPlus single-key system. The FLYER Racktime luggage rack is fitted with an integrated spring-loaded flap.

The Panasonic GX Power Plus motor, together with the FLYER STB-630 battery (630 Wh / 16.75 Ah / 36 V), provides powerful assistance over long distances. The FIT D0 display offers a clear overview and makes the e-bike easy to operate. The charger is a FLYER charger with an output of 4A at 36V, enabling the battery to be charged quickly. This model combines high-quality components and a well-thought-out design for an enjoyable riding experience.
