FALTER T 5.0 PLUS

The "T 5.0 PLUS" model from the "FALTER" brand, released in 2024, offers a well-thought-out combination of functionality and comfort for a price of 1,199 EUR. The bike’s frame is diamond-shaped, contributing to a stable and reliable riding experience, whilst the maximum load capacity of 170 kg and the kerb weight of 18 kg underline its robust construction.

The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes at both the front and rear, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (Shimano SM-RT10), ensuring effective braking performance. The bike is fitted with the Shimano Cues SL-U4000 groupset, which offers a total of 18 gears, and is complemented by the Shimano Cues FD-U4010 front derailleur.

The Suntour SF17-NCX-D-LO-DS-AIR fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. The bike is lit by the Herrmans MR 4 front light, with a luminous intensity of 35 lux, and the integrated Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, which ensures good visibility in traffic.

The specification is rounded off by VP-658 pedals, a Shimano Cues FC-U4010 crankset (46x30, 175 mm) and a Shimano Cues CS-LG300 cassette (11–36 teeth, 9-speed). Power is transmitted via the Shimano CN-LG500 chain. The handlebars are Ergotec Lady Town, 640 mm wide, fitted with Herrmans DD36 Ergo grips, whilst the stem is an Ergotec Swell-R Eco, 100 mm long.

The wheels are fitted with X17 Inox Eyelets rims, each with 32 holes, and Continental Contact Plus Travel Reflex tyres. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX5058 with a quick-release axle; both also have 32 holes and silver stainless steel spokes.

The Selle Royal Orbis saddle ensures comfort on longer rides, mounted on an Ergotec Skalar seatpost (30.4 mm x 400 mm). SKS mudguards, an Ursus Mooi kickstand and an Atran Tour 365 luggage rack round off the T 5.0 PLUS’s specification, making it a versatile companion for everyday use and touring.
