FALTER T 4.0

The "T 4.0" model from FALTER, released in 2024, is a sturdy and reliable bicycle that offers good value for money at a price of 999 EUR. Fitted with a Wave frame, it is both sturdy and comfortable and has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, whilst weighing 16 kg itself.

The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 disc brakes at both the front and rear, with matching Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm, ensuring reliable braking performance. Gear shifting is handled by Shimano Cues SL-U4000 components, featuring a Shimano Cues FD-U4010 front derailleur and an 18-speed system, which allows for flexible adaptation to different riding conditions.

The Suntour SF16-NEX-DS-700C fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The lighting comprises a Herrmans MR GO front light with 35 lux and an integrated Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, which ensures safety in the dark. The pedals are Marwi SP-823, whilst the crankset is a Shimano Cues FC-U4010 fitted with a 46x30 chainring and a 170 mm length.

The sprocket is a Shimano Cues CS-LG300 with 11–36 teeth and 9-speed, ensuring efficient power transfer. The handlebars are MATRIX HB-RB11, 620 mm wide with a 9-degree bend, complemented by Herrmans DD36 Ergo grips for added comfort. The stem is a MATRIX MA-595 with a length of 90 mm, and the headset is an FSA NR11N.

The rims are X11 Inox Eyelets with 32 holes at both the front and rear, and the tyres are Schwalbe Road Cruiser Plus Reflex, which ensure good road holding. The hubs are a Shimano DH-3D37 at the front and a Shimano FH-TX5058 at the rear, both with 32 holes and a quick-release axle at the rear. The spokes are made of black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola, fitted to a Post Moderne Glide suspension seatpost measuring 30.4 x 350 mm, which offers additional comfort. SKS mudguards protect against dirt and water, whilst the Ursus Mooi kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. The Atran Tour 365 luggage rack also offers ample space for carrying luggage or shopping. All in all, the FALTER T 4.0 is a well-equipped bike that is just as suitable for everyday use as it is for longer rides.
