FALTER S 6.0

The "S 6.0" model from the "FALTER" brand, released in 2024, is a versatile bicycle featuring a robust trapezoidal frame that supports a maximum load of 130 kg and weighs 14 kg itself. The price for this model is 1099 EUR. The braking system consists of Shimano BR-MT200 brakes at both the front and rear, combined with Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear and are from the Shimano SM-RT10 range. The gear system is provided by Shimano Cues SL-U6000 components, with the gear lever also from the Cues series. The front derailleur is a Shimano Cues FD-U6010, and the bike offers a total of 20 gears.

The fork is made of aluminium and is rigid, giving the bike a sturdy and low-maintenance front end. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR 8 front light with 60 lux and the integrated Herrmans H-Cargo rear light. The pedals are Marwi SP-823. The crankset is a Shimano Cues FC-U6000 with 46x30 teeth and a length of 170 mm, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Cues CS-LG400 with 11–39 teeth in a 10-speed configuration. Power is transmitted via a Shimano CN-LG500 chain.

The handlebars are MATRIX HB-RB11, 620 mm wide, with a 9-degree bend and a 25 mm rise, complemented by Herrmans DD36 Ergo grips. The stem is a MATRIX AS007 with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 80 mm. The headset is an FSA model H2246A. The rims are from the X11 Inox Eyelets series with 32 holes at both the front and rear, fitted with Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres featuring reflective strips.

The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 with 32 holes, and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-M4050, also with 32 holes and a quick-release axle. The spokes are made of black stainless steel. The saddle is a Selle Royal Essenza Plus model, mounted on a MATRIX SP-2016 seatpost measuring 27.2 mm x 350 mm. Mudguards from SKS, an Ursus Mooi kickstand and an Atran Tour Pro luggage rack round off the S 6.0’s specification, making it a practical companion for both everyday use and longer tours.
