FALTER FX 924 ND

The "FX 924 ND" model from FALTER, released in 2024, offers a solid range of features at a price of 899 EUR. The bike’s frame is designed in the classic diamond shape and has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 16 kg. Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (AMT200) at both the front and rear, each fitted with 160 mm diameter brake discs.

The drivetrain is a 24-speed derailleur system, operated by the Shimano Acera SL-M360 shifter. The front derailleur is a Shimano Tourney FD-TY700, which ensures precise and reliable gear-changing performance. The Suntour XCE 28 DS suspension fork offers 100 mm of travel, ensuring comfort on uneven terrain.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a MATRIX LED front light with 20 LUX and a rear light with a parking light function, both powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 CL hub dynamo for disc brakes. The pedals are MATRIX FP-803ZU and the bottom bracket is a square-tapered model. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-MT500 with a length of 170 mm. The cassette is a Shimano HG-31 8-speed with 11–32 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a KMC Z8 chain.

The handlebars are MATRIX ATB aluminium handlebars with a width of 700 mm, fitted with Herrmans Airo DD26 grips. The stem is also made of aluminium and features an Ahead design. The rims are hollow-section aluminium with 36 holes, both front and rear, and the tyres are Kenda K-1047 Reflex in size 54-622. The spokes are made of stainless steel, which contributes to stability and durability.

The saddle is a MATRIX FX ATB model, mounted on a MATRIX Patent aluminium seatpost. SKS Velo 65 Mountain mudguards provide protection against dirt and water. An integrated chain guard offers additional protection and safety. The bike features an aluminium rear stand and a steel-tube luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap, making it a practical everyday companion.
