FALTER FX 607 ND

The "FX 607 ND" model from FALTER, released in 2021, is a versatile and reliable bicycle designed for everyday urban use. The price of 579 EUR reflects the high-quality specifications this model offers. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, resulting in a total weight of 16 kg and a maximum load capacity of 120 kg.

Braking performance is provided by aluminium V-brakes, combined with 3-finger brake levers. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub gear system with a coaster brake, operated by the Shimano Nexus SL-C3000-7 gear lever. This combination offers reliable and low-maintenance gear changing. The rigid fork, featuring a unicrown design, is made from Hi-Ten steel and contributes to the bike’s robustness.

In terms of lighting, the FX 607 ND is fitted with a MATRIX LED front light, which provides a light output of 20 LUX, as well as a MATRIX LED rear light with a parking light function. Power is generated by a Shimano DH-C30003 hub dynamo with an output of 3 watts, ensuring a constant power supply without the need to change batteries.

The bike is fitted with VP-872 pedals and a square-taper bottom bracket. The MATRIX crankset has 38 teeth and a length of 170 mm, whilst the chainring has 19 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z6 chain. The handlebars are MATRIX ATB aluminium handlebars with a width of 590 mm, complemented by Herrmans Airo DD26 grips for comfortable handling. The hollow-section aluminium rims are reinforced with 36 spokes and fitted with MATRIX More Miles 1 tyres in size 47-559, featuring reflective strips for increased visibility. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano hub dynamo and the rear hub with the Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub gear system. The saddle, a MATRIX FX ATB model, together with the patented aluminium seatpost, ensures a comfortable ride.

Additional features include MATRIX plastic mudguards and a chain guard, a sturdy aluminium centre-mounted kickstand, and a robust steel-tube luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap. These features make the FX 607 ND a practical everyday companion that combines functionality and comfort.
