FALTER FX 607

The FALTER FX 607 model from 2020 is a versatile and reliable bicycle that, at a price of 499 EUR, represents excellent value for money. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure, with a total weight of 16 kg. The FX 607 is fitted with aluminium V-brakes and matching 3-finger brake levers, which ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 7-speed with a freewheel, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-C3000-7 gear lever, which ensures a comfortable riding experience.

The Unicrown rigid fork made from Hi-Ten steel offers a stable ride, whilst lighting is provided by the Matrix JY-7093-1 LED front light with 30 lux and a parking light function, as well as the Matrix JY-553M LED rear light, also with a parking light function. The hub dynamo ensures a constant power supply to the lights. The bottom bracket is a square-taper model and the crankset consists of a Matrix 38-tooth aluminium crankset, complemented by a Shimano 19-tooth sprocket and a KMC Z-6 chain.

The handlebars are a Matrix ATB model with a width of 590 mm, a 25-degree bend and a 30 mm rise, which, together with the Herrmans Airo DD26 grips, ensures comfortable handling. The stem is a Matrix A-Head made of aluminium, measuring 25.4 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length, with a 15-degree angle. The headset is a Matrix 1 1/8-inch model, whilst the rims are made of hollow-chamber aluminium with 36 holes. The tyres are Matrix More Miles 1 with reflective strips, size 47-559.

The front hub is fitted with a Shimano DH-C30003 hub dynamo (3 watts), whilst the rear features a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub with a freewheel. Stainless steel spokes complete the bike’s design. The saddle is the Matrix FX Lady model, mounted on an aluminium seatpost. Plastic mudguards from Matrix and an aluminium centre stand offer additional comfort and functionality. The steel-tube luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap allows for the transport of luggage. Overall, the FALTER FX 607 offers a well-balanced combination of functionality and comfort for everyday use.
