FALTER FX 603 ND

The "FX 603 ND" model from FALTER, released in 2024, is a reliable and functional bicycle which, at a price of 579 EUR, represents an attractive option for value-conscious buyers. The bike’s frame features a deep diamond design and provides a solid foundation with a maximum load capacity of 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

The braking system consists of aluminium V-brakes at both the front and rear, operated by 3-finger brake levers, also made of aluminium. The gear system is fitted with the Shimano Nexus 3-speed set-up, operated by the Shimano Nexus SL-3S41 gear lever, which allows for simple and effective gear selection. The Unicrown Hi-Ten rigid fork completes the chassis and ensures stability and durability.

Lighting is provided by a MATRIX LED front light with 20 LUX and a rear light with a parking light function, powered by a Shimano DH-C30003 hub dynamo with 3 watts of power. This ensures reliable and energy-efficient lighting in all lighting conditions.

The bike is fitted with VP-821 pedals and features a square-taper bottom bracket, as well as a MATRIX crankset with 38 teeth and a length of 170 mm, made from aluminium. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z6 chain, whilst the sprocket has 19 teeth.

The handlebars are a black steel MATRIX model, 590 mm wide, complemented by Herrmans Airo DD26 grips for comfortable handling. The stem is a MATRIX Ahead model made of aluminium, also in black, and the headset is 1 1/8 inches in size.

The rims are hollow-section aluminium models with 36 holes at both the front and rear, fitted with MATRIX More Miles 1 Reflex tyres in size 47-559. The front hub is the Shimano DH-C30003 dynamo hub and the rear hub is the Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear with coaster brake, both fitted with stainless steel spokes.

The saddle is the MATRIX FX ATB model, mounted on a MATRIX aluminium seatpost. The mudguards and chain guard are made of MATRIX plastic, whilst the kickstand is made of aluminium. The luggage rack consists of a steel tube with a spring-loaded flap, offering additional transport options. Overall, the FALTER FX 603 ND is a well-equipped bicycle that is ideally suited for everyday use.
