FALTER F 5.0 DELUXE

The FALTER F 5.0 DELUXE from 2024 is a well thought-out folding bike that is characterised by its compact design and a wide range of useful features. With a price of EUR 999, it offers a good balance between functionality and affordability. The folding frame allows for easy handling and storage, ideal for urban commuting or travelling. The total permissible weight is 110kg, while the bike itself is light enough to be easily transported, weighing just 14kg.

The bike is equipped with V-Brake aluminium brakes both front and rear, which in combination with the aluminium 4-finger brake levers ensure reliable braking performance. The Shimano Nexus 7-speed gear system offers a sufficient range of gears for different riding conditions, controlled by the Shimano SL-7S10 gear lever. The rigid fork made of Unicrown Hi-Ten ensures stable and direct steering.

Lighting is provided by the Spanninga Kendo HL2800 LED with a light output of 35 LUX at the front and the Spanninga Linea RLL LED with parking light function at the rear, both powered by a Shimano DH-F703S hub dynamo. The MATRIX folding pedals and the 46-tooth crankset with aluminium chain guard on both sides contribute to functionality and safety.

The handlebars are a MATRIX aluminium model with a width of 540 mm and ergonomic grips for comfort. The stem is also made of aluminium and has a quick release, which increases flexibility when folding. The hollow chamber aluminium rims are robust and fitted with Kenda K-1045 Reflex tyres, which ensure good traction and visibility.

The MATRIX VL-6167 saddle and the aluminium seat post offer comfort on longer rides. Additional features such as the aluminium pannier rack with tensioning strap, the MATRIX plastic mudguards and the aluminium centre stand underline the model's suitability for everyday use. With a top tube length of 624 mm, a head tube angle of 72 degrees and a seat tube angle of 75 degrees, the FALTER F 5.0 DELUXE offers balanced geometry for a pleasant riding experience. The wheelbase of 1050 mm also ensures stability on the road.
