FALTER F 5.0 COMFORT

The FALTER F 5.0 COMFORT, launched in 2024, is a versatile and functional folding bike that is ideal for urban use. Priced at 999 euros, it offers excellent value for money. The bike’s folding frame makes it easy to handle and store, whilst the maximum load capacity of 110 kg and a weight of just 14 kg strike a good balance between stability and lightness.

The model is fitted with aluminium V-brakes at both the front and rear, which, together with the 4-finger aluminium brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The Shimano Nexus 7-speed gear system, with the Shimano SL-7S10 gear lever, offers a sufficient range of gears for various riding conditions. The Unicrown Hi-Ten rigid fork ensures a robust and low-maintenance front end.

For lighting, the FALTER F 5.0 COMFORT is fitted with a Spanninga Kendo HL2800 LED front light (35 LUX) and a Spanninga Linea RLL LED rear light with a parking light function. Both lights are powered by a Shimano DH-F703S hub dynamo, which ensures a reliable power supply.

The specification also includes MATRIX folding pedals, a square-taper bottom bracket, an aluminium crankset with 46 teeth and chain guards on both sides, as well as a Shimano 16-tooth sprocket. The drivetrain is powered by a KMC chain. The 540 mm wide MATRIX aluminium handlebars, combined with the ergonomic MATRIX VL-1189 grips, ensure a comfortable ride.

The MATRIX stem is foldable and features a quick-release mechanism, making the bike easier to handle. The 28-hole aluminium hollow-wall rims and the Kenda K-1045 Reflex tyres offer durability and good riding characteristics. The hubs are also by Shimano: a hub dynamo at the front and a Nexus 7-speed hub gear with coaster brake at the rear.

The MATRIX VL-6167 saddle and the aluminium seatpost, measuring 33.9 mm x 580 mm, offer comfort and adjustability. Plastic mudguards and a chain guard, as well as a sturdy aluminium centre-mounted kickstand, are also included. The aluminium luggage rack with a tension strap rounds off the functionality of the FALTER F 5.0 COMFORT, making it a practical everyday companion.
