FALTER F 3.0 COMFORT

The "F 3.0 COMFORT" model from FALTER, released in 2024, is a folding bike that stands out for its practical design and robust features. Priced at 899 EUR, it offers a good balance of functionality and comfort. The folding frame makes the bike easy to handle and store, whilst the maximum load capacity of 110 kg and the weight of 14 kg ensure a robust yet lightweight design.

Braking performance is provided by aluminium V-brakes on both the front and rear wheels, operated via 4-finger aluminium brake levers. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear, which is easy to operate using the Shimano Nexus SL-3S35 gear lever. The Unicrown Hi-Ten rigid fork contributes to the bike’s stability.

The lighting comprises a Spanninga Kendo HL2800 LED front light with 35 LUX and a Spanninga Linea RLL LED rear light with a parking light function, both powered by a Shimano DH-F703S hub dynamo. The MATRIX folding pedals and the 46-tooth crankset, including chain guards on both sides, ensure efficient propulsion, supported by a KMC chain and a Shimano 16-tooth sprocket.

The black aluminium handlebars are 540 mm wide and fitted with MATRIX VL-1189 ergonomic grips. The stem is also made of aluminium and features a quick-release mechanism for easy adjustment. The wheels consist of 28-hole aluminium hollow-section rims and are fitted with Kenda K-1045 Reflex tyres.

The MATRIX VL-6167 saddle, mounted on an aluminium seatpost measuring 33.9 mm x 580 mm, provides additional comfort. Plastic mudguards and a chain guard offer protection against dirt and wet conditions. A sturdy aluminium centre-frame kickstand and a luggage rack with a tension strap complete the specification, making the “F 3.0 COMFORT” a versatile companion for urban environments.
