FALTER F 2.0

The "F 2.0" model from the FALTER brand, launched in 2024, is a versatile and practical bicycle that stands out for its foldable design and light weight of just 12 kg. Priced at 699 EUR, it offers a solid range of features suitable for both urban and leisure use. The folding frame allows for easy handling and storage, whilst the maximum load capacity of 110 kg appeals to a wide range of users.

The bike is fitted with aluminium V-brakes at both the front and rear, which, in combination with the 4-finger aluminium brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The Shimano Nexus 8-speed gear system offers a good range of gears, which can be operated via the Shimano Tourney SL-RS45 gear levers. This setup allows for comfortable adaptation to various riding conditions.

The Unicrown Hi-Ten rigid fork ensures a stable ride, whilst the MATRIX folding pedals contribute to the bike’s compact design. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC chain system, whilst the crankset is fitted with a 46-tooth chainring and aluminium chain guards. The cassette consists of a Shimano HG-200 8-speed system with 12–32 teeth, which contributes to efficient power transfer.

The handlebars are a MATRIX model, 540 mm wide and made of black aluminium, complemented by MATRIX VL-1189 ergonomic grips, which provide additional comfort. The stem is also made of aluminium and features a quick-release mechanism, making adjustment easier. The headset is a MATRIX 1 1/8-inch system.

The wheelsets consist of hollow-section aluminium rims with 28 holes at both the front and rear, fitted with Kenda K-1045 Reflex tyres in size 47-406. The hubs are made of aluminium, with the rear hub being a MATRIX 8-speed system. Stainless steel spokes complete the robust wheel setup.

The saddle is the MATRIX VL-6167 model, mounted on an aluminium seatpost measuring 33.9 mm x 580 mm. An aluminium centre-mounted kickstand ensures stable parking. Overall, the FALTER F 2.0 offers a well-thought-out specification for practical everyday use and touring.
