FALTER E COMPACT 2.5 FL

The "E COMPACT 2.5 FL" model from FALTER, launched in 2024, is a compact and high-performance e-bike that, at a price of 3,999 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The wave-shaped frame allows for easy mounting and contributes to a maximum load capacity of 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 23 kg.

The braking system consists of Shimano AMT200 hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, fitted with 160 mm CentreLock brake discs and operated via aluminium brake levers with 4-finger grips. The continuously variable hub gear system is controlled by an Enviolo gear lever with a Pure display, enabling seamless adaptation to different riding conditions.

Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 75 Nm, which, in combination with the Gates CDX belt drive, ensures efficient power transmission. The semi-integrated Bosch PowerPack battery offers a capacity of 545 Wh and is charged using a Bosch Standard Charger with 4A, whilst the Bosch Intuvia display allows for user-friendly control of the electric assistance.

The aluminium fork and the bySchulz Urban handlebars, with a width of 640 mm and a backsweep of 27 degrees, ensure a comfortable and stable riding position. The stem is a bySchulz Speedlifter Twist T15, 80 mm long, which offers flexibility in handlebar height adjustment.

Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR GO LED front light (30 LUX) and the Herrmans H-Cargo LED rear light, which ensure visibility and safety on the road. The Schwalbe Super Moto-X Reflex tyres, size 62-406, offer excellent grip and stability on a variety of surfaces.

The model is fitted with a Selle Royal Orbis saddle, mounted on a MATRIX aluminium seatpost. Additional features include foldable Marwi SP-153 pedals, an Abus lock with a matching battery-operated lock, and a Massload aluminium luggage rack with MIK system and spring-loaded flap. The E COMPACT 2.5 FL is therefore a well-equipped e-bike that is ideal for urban use and impresses with its well-thought-out features and high-quality components.
