FALTER E 9.5 KS Wave sand, matt

The "E 9.5 KS Wave sand, matt" model from FALTER, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike priced at 3,899 EUR. The aluminium frame, made from 6061 alloy, ensures a sturdy yet lightweight construction. The Shimano AMT200 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with the Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers and Rotor SM-RT10 CL brake discs (front 180 mm, rear 160 mm), deliver reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The Shimano Deore RD-M4120 system, featuring a 10-speed derailleur, is responsible for gear changes, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M4100 shifter.

The Suntour NCX32 AIR suspension fork, with a lockout function and 63 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR4 LED front light (35 LUX) and the Herrmans H-Cargo LED rear light. The bike is fitted with Marwi SP-823 pedals. The MATRIX Delta crankset has 38 teeth and a length of 165 mm, whilst the Shimano HG-50 cassette features a 10-speed system with a range of 11–36 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S EPT chain.

The handlebars are a MATRIX model measuring 31.8 mm in diameter, 630 mm in width, with a 30-degree bend and a 7 mm rise. The grips are Herrmans DD36. The stem is also from MATRIX, an UP 2+ model, Ahead, with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 90 mm, which is angle-adjustable. The headset is semi-integrated, tapered and cartridge-based.

The hollow-section aluminium rims are fitted with stainless steel eyelets, and the tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus with reflective strips, size 55-622. The front hub is a Shimano HB-TX505, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Acera FH-M3050 CL QR. The spokes are black and made of stainless steel.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Orbis model, mounted on a MATRIX Harmony suspension seat post measuring 30.9 mm x 300 mm. MATRIX CP65 plastic mudguards and a Herrmans Slyde chain guard are also fitted. The Ursus King 2 rear stand ensures stability when parking the bike. An Abus 4750L lock, keyed the same as the battery lock, provides security.

The luggage rack is a Massload aluminium model with the MIK system and a spring-loaded flap. The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. The integrated Bosch Powertube battery has a capacity of 500 Wh. The display is a Bosch Intuvia model, which allows for intuitive control and display of ride data.
