FALTER E 9.5

The “E 9.5” model from the “FALTER” brand, launched in 2020, is a versatile and well-equipped e-bike priced at 3099 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a sturdy yet lightweight structure, with a total weight of 26 kg. The bike is fitted with Shimano AMT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers, provide reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Nexus 8-speed freehub, controlled by the Shimano Nexus SL-C6000-8 gear lever, ensuring smooth and precise gear changes.

The Suntour NEX-E25-DS suspension fork offers additional comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR4 LED front light (35 LUX) and the Herrmans H-Trace rear light, ensuring good visibility in the dark. Power is transmitted via a low-maintenance Gates CDX belt, paired with a Matrix aluminium crankset and a 22-tooth sprocket. The handlebars are Matrix 17, 630 mm wide with a 15-degree bend, complemented by Matrix Ergo grips for added comfort. The stem is angle-adjustable and also from Matrix.

The rims are made of aluminium with a hollow-chamber profile and 36 holes, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres in size 50-622, which ensure good road holding. The front hub is a Shimano Tourney and the rear is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub. The saddle is the Matrix E-Bike VL-6310 model, mounted on a Matrix Harmony suspension seatpost.

Additional features include SKS A56R PET mudguards, a Massload CL-KA100 rear stand and an Abus 5950 lock, which is keyed alike with the battery lock. The Racktime luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap offers practical transport options. The Bosch PowerPack battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, is semi-integrated and controlled by a Bosch Intuvia display, enabling user-friendly control of the e-bike system. Overall, the FALTER E 9.5 offers a balanced combination of comfort, safety and performance, ideal for everyday use or longer rides.
