FALTER E 9.3 RT

The 2021 E 9.3 RT from FALTER is a versatile e-bike which, at a price of EUR 2,949, represents an attractive option in the e-bike market. The 6061 aluminium frame ensures a robust yet lightweight construction, allowing for a maximum load capacity of 140 kg. The bike itself weighs 26 kg, making it a stable yet manoeuvrable option.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano AMT200 hydraulic disc brakes, fitted with a 180 mm Centre Lock disc at the front and a 160 mm 5-bolt disc at the rear. The gear system is a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear system with a coaster brake, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-C6000-8 gear lever. This combination offers reliable and low-maintenance gear-changing performance.

The Suntour NEX-E25-DS suspension fork, with 63 mm of travel, provides additional comfort on uneven roads. The lighting comprises the Herrmans MR GO LED front light and the Herrmans H-Cargo LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in the dark.

The E 9.3 RT’s drivetrain is based on the Gates CDX system, featuring a MATRIX Delta crankset and a 22-tooth sprocket. The Bosch Active Line Plus mid-drive motor, with an output of 250 W and torque of 50 Nm, is powered by a semi-integrated Bosch PowerPack battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display allows for easy control and monitoring of the systems.

Additional components such as the 660 mm-wide MATRIX handlebars, ergonomic grips, an angle-adjustable stem and a semi-integrated headset design all contribute to the ride quality. The black hollow-section aluminium rims, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres, offer stability and safety on the road.

The bike is also fitted with a Massload luggage rack featuring the MIK system and a spring-loaded flap, making it a practical choice for carrying loads. Mudguards from SKS, a chain guard from Horn, an Ursus rear stand and a comfortable MATRIX e-bike saddle round off the specification. Overall, the FALTER E 9.3 RT offers a balanced combination of comfort, performance and functionality, making it an attractive option for everyday use or longer rides.
