FALTER E 9.0i FL 500

The “E 9.0i FL 500” model from the “FALTER” brand, released in 2024, is a versatile e-bike suitable for both city commuting and longer rides. Priced at 2,999 EUR, it offers solid specifications and modern technology. The Wave frame ensures easy mounting and contributes to a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg, whilst the bike’s own weight is 28 kg.

The e-bike’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – specifically the BR-MT200 model – fitted to both the front and rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano – the BL-MT201 model – and ensure precise braking. The brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The bike is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed in-hub gearbox, operated via the SL-C6000-8 gear lever.

Suspension is provided by the Suntour X1 LO fork with 80 mm of travel, which ensures additional comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is well covered by the Herrmans MR5E front light with 40 lux and the integrated Herrmans H-Cargo rear light. Power is provided by a Bosch Active Line Plus mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 50 Nm. The motor is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, which provides sufficient energy for long rides. The Bosch Intuvia 100 display and the LED remote allow for easy control and monitoring of ride data.

The MATRIX Noir handlebars, with a width of 660 mm and a 30-degree bend, provide an ergonomic hand position, whilst the Herrmans DD36 Ergo grips offer additional comfort. The stem is angle-adjustable and SP Connect-ready, allowing for flexibility in handlebar positioning. The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Plus Performance tyres mounted on Mach 1 Cross R-27 rims, ensuring good road holding.

Further features include the Selle Royal Hz saddle, a suspension seatpost from MATRIX, aluminium mudguards, a Hesling Move chain guard and an Ursus King 2 KSA rear stand. The luggage rack is made of aluminium and fitted with the MIK system, which allows bags to be attached easily.
