The "E 9.0 FL 500" e-bike model from FALTER, launched in 2024, is a powerful and versatile means of transport for discerning cyclists. The price for this model is 3,199 EUR. It is fitted with a Wave frame and has a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 26 kg. The Clarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, combined with 180 mm and 160 mm brake discs respectively, ensure reliable braking performance and safety. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear system, operated via the Shimano SL-C6000-8 shift lever, which allows for easy and precise gear selection.

The suspension is provided by the Suntour NEX-E25-DS suspension fork with 63 mm of travel, which ensures additional comfort on uneven roads. Lighting is provided by the Herrmans MR GO LED front light and the Herrmans H-Cargo LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions. The Marwi SP-823 pedals and the MATRIX Delta crankset, with 38 teeth and a crank length of 165 mm, offer efficient power transfer.

Power is provided by the Bosch Active Line Plus mid-drive motor with an output of 250 W and a torque of 50 Nm. The Bosch PowerPack battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, is semi-integrated and provides a reliable power source for longer journeys. The Bosch Intuvia display allows for easy operation and monitoring of the e-bike’s functions.

The wheels consist of hollow-chamber aluminium rims with 32 spokes, fitted with Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus Reflex tyres in size 55-622, which ensure good road holding. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano HB-TX505, whilst the rear features a Shimano Nexus 8-speed in-hub gearbox. The model’s saddle is a MATRIX E-Bike VL-6395, mounted on an aluminium seat post measuring 30.9 mm x 300 mm.

Additional features include a Horn Catena 18 chain guard, MATRIX plastic profiled mudguards, an Ursus King 2 KSA 40 mm rear stand and a Massload aluminium luggage rack with a MIK system spring-loaded flap. The handlebars are a MATRIX model with a width of 630 mm, a rise of 7 mm and a backsweep of 30 degrees, ensuring comfortable handling. The adjustable stem is 90 mm long. The e-bike thus offers a balanced combination of comfort, safety and performance for everyday use or longer rides.
