FALTER E 8.9

The 2020 FALTER E 8.9 is a versatile e-bike available for 3,199 euros. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure, with a total weight of 26 kg. The E 8.9 is equipped with a Shimano Deore 10-speed derailleur system featuring an RD-M610 rear derailleur and SL-T6000 shift levers, which ensure precise and reliable gear changes. The Shimano AMT200 hydraulic disc brakes, combined with the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers, ensure safe deceleration and control.

The Suntour NEX-E25-DS suspension fork with lockout function offers additional comfort on uneven roads. For lighting, the e-bike is fitted with a Herrmans MR8 LED front light (180 lumens) and a Herrmans H-Cargo rear light, ensuring good visibility when riding at night. Power is transmitted via a KMC e10S chain, whilst the crankset consists of a Matrix aluminium crank with 38 teeth and a length of 170 mm.

The seatpost is a Matrix Harmony suspension seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 300 mm, fitted with a Matrix VL-6310 e-bike saddle.

Additional features of the FALTER E 8.9 include SKS A56R PET mudguards, an Ursus King 2 rear stand, an Abus 5850 lock, which is keyed to the same key as the battery lock, and an Atran Velo Tour 365 luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap and integrated rear light. Power is provided by an integrated Shimano BT-E8035 motor with a battery capacity of 504 Wh, controlled via the Shimano SC-E6100 display.
