FALTER C 4.0 PLUS

The FALTER C 4.0 PLUS, launched in 2024, is a versatile and robust bicycle that performs well both in the city and on longer rides. Priced at 1,449 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of comfort, functionality and reliability. The Wave frame ensures easy access and contributes to a maximum load capacity of 170 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 19 kg.

The Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear wheels guarantee reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The Shimano BL-MT200 brake lever complements the system and ensures precise control. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, ensuring effective brake force distribution. The Shimano Nexus 8-speed gear system offers a wide range of gears, which are easy to operate via the Shimano Nexus SL-C6000-8 gear lever.

The Suntour NX1 LO DS suspension fork, with 63 mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride by absorbing bumps in the road. The lighting comprises a Herrmans MR4 LED front light with 35 lux and a Herrmans H-Trace Steady MATRIX LED rear light with a parking light function, powered by a Shimano DH-3D37 CL Disc QR hub dynamo, which ensures good visibility even in the dark.

The drivetrain is supported by a KMC Z610EPT anti-rust chain, which, in combination with the MATRIX crankset featuring a 38-tooth chainring and a 20-tooth sprocket, ensures efficient power transfer. The ergonomic Ergotec Lady Town handlebars, with a width of 620 mm and a 30-degree backsweep, allow for a relaxed riding position. The angle-adjustable Ergotec Swell R ECO stem helps to customise riding comfort.

The rims are made of aluminium and fitted with Continental Contact Plus City Reflex tyres in size 47-622, which ensure good grip and puncture protection. The Selle Royal Orbis saddle is reinforced and, in combination with the Ergotec Skalar seatpost, offers additional comfort. Practical features such as the Atran Velo Tour luggage rack with spring-loaded flap and integrated rear light, SKS A56 mudguards, a Hebie chain guard and an Ursus Mooi KSA rear stand round off the FALTER C 4.0 PLUS’s specification, making it a reliable everyday companion.
