FALTER C 3.0

The "C 3.0" model from FALTER, launched in 2024, is a comfortable bike which, at a price of 849 EUR, represents an attractive option in the everyday bike segment. The Comfort frame is designed for a maximum load of 130 kg and weighs 16 kg itself. Safety is ensured by the Promax TX123D V-brakes in aluminium on the front and rear wheels, which are combined with the Promax BL-39AP 4-finger brake levers.

The bike’s gear system consists of a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub gear, operated via the Shimano Nexus SL-C3000-7 gear lever. A rigid fork made from Rigid Hi-Ten material ensures a stable ride. For lighting, the C 3.0 is fitted with a MATRIX LED front light (20 lux) and a MATRIX LED rear light with a parking light function, both powered by a 15-watt Shimano DH-C30001 hub dynamo.

Power is transmitted via a KMC Z6 chain drive, supported by a MATRIX crankset with 38 teeth and a crank arm length of 170 mm. The model is fitted with Marwi SP-823 pedals. The handlebars, a MATRIX HL NR-24 with a width of 630 mm, together with the Herrmans Oxy DD29 grips, offer comfortable handling. The stem is adjustable and measures 85 mm in length.

The C 3.0 is fitted with hollow-section aluminium rims and Continental Ride City Reflex tyres in size 47-622, which ensure good road holding. The front hub is fitted with a Shimano hub dynamo and the rear hub with a Shimano Nexus 7-speed hub gear system, including a coaster brake. Stainless steel spokes contribute to the bike’s stability.

The Selle Royal Freeway saddle promises comfort on longer rides, mounted on a MATRIX aluminium seatpost measuring 27.2 mm x 350 mm. SKS A56 mudguards and a Hebie chain guard for 38 teeth protect against dirt and wet conditions. A sturdy centre-mounted kickstand and an Atran Velo Tour 365 BS aluminium luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap round off the features.

With a wheelbase of 1182 mm and other geometric details such as a head tube angle of 69 degrees and a seat tube angle of 68 degrees, the bike offers well-balanced riding dynamics. The bottom bracket height is 288 mm, whilst the fork installation height is 450 mm. The reach is specified as 662 mm and the stack as 457 mm, which together contribute to a comfortable riding position. These technical features make the FALTER C 3.0 a reliable companion for everyday use and leisure rides.
