FALTER C 2.0

The "C 2.0" model from FALTER, released in 2024, is a comfortable and versatile bicycle priced at 729 EUR. It is fitted with a robust comfort frame capable of supporting a maximum load of 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 16 kg. The brakes consist of Promax TX123D aluminium V-brakes at both the front and rear, complemented by Promax BL-39AP aluminium brake levers with a 4-finger operation, which ensure reliable braking performance.

The C 2.0’s gear system is based on a Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear, controlled by the Shimano Nexus SL-3S42 gear lever. This combination offers simple and efficient gear selection with a total of three gears. The Rigid Hi-Ten rigid fork ensures stable and direct steering. The bike is lit by a MATRIX LED front light with 20 LUX and a rear light with a parking light function, both powered by a 15-watt Shimano DH-C30001 hub dynamo.

The bottom bracket is a MATRIX VP-BC73C, whilst the crankset is made of aluminium with 38 teeth and a length of 170 mm. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z6 chain, which is combined with a 19-tooth sprocket. The handlebars are MATRIX HL NR-24, 630 mm wide, fitted with Herrmans Airo DD26 grips. The stem is also by MATRIX, model MQ-46-5, with a length of 85 mm and a height of 180 mm.

The rims are made of aluminium using a hollow-chamber construction and fitted with Kenda K-935 Reflex tyres in size 47-559. The front hub is a Shimano dynamo hub and the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus 3-speed hub gear with a coaster brake. Stainless steel spokes provide additional stability. The Selle Royal Rio saddle offers comfort, mounted on a MATRIX SP-501 aluminium seatpost.

SKS A56 mudguards are fitted for extra protection, whilst the Hebie 0372 chain guard covers the 38-tooth chain. An Olona aluminium centre-mount kickstand is adjustable and ensures the bike stands securely. The luggage rack is made from steel tubing with a spring-loaded flap, ideal for carrying bags or shopping. The bike’s geometry is defined by a reach of 436 mm, a stack of 667 mm and a top tube length of 665 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees and the seat tube angle 68 degrees, contributing to a balanced riding position. Other dimensions include a bottom bracket drop of 70 mm, a fork offset of 40 mm, a top tube height of 288 mm, a fork installation height of 450 mm and a bottom bracket height also of 288 mm. The wheelbase measures 1167 mm in total, which gives the bike stable road holding.
