Excelsior Pagoba ND Tiefein

The "Pagoba ND Tiefein" model from Excelsior, released in 2024, is a stylish and functional bicycle available for €439. It is characterised by its robust, low-step steel frame with a frame height of 45 cm, which can support a maximum load of 120 kg. The bicycle itself weighs 19 kg, making it a sturdy companion for everyday use.

The Pagoba ND Tiefein’s braking system consists of PROMAX “TX123” V-brakes and the matching “BL82” brake levers, which ensure reliable safety at both the front and rear. The 3-speed SHIMANO “Nexus” RBN gear system allows for simple and effective adaptation to different riding conditions, controlled via the SHIMANO “Nexus” gear lever.

The bike is fitted with a Unicrown fork and a lighting system comprising the CONTEC “DLUX” front light, which ensures good visibility with a brightness of 30 lux, and a CONTEC “TL-135” rear light with a parking light function. The SHIMANO “DH-C3000-3N-NT” hub dynamo reliably powers the lights.

Components such as the FP 804 plastic pedals, a 119 mm bottom bracket and a steel crankset with a SHIMANO sprocket (38 teeth at the front, 19 teeth at the rear) round off the drivetrain. Power is transmitted via a KMC “REZ610” chain.

Comfort and control are ensured by the Creativ steel handlebars, 630 mm wide, fitted with HERRMANS “No. 91” grips. The stem is made from a combination of steel and aluminium and has a diameter of 25.4 mm and a length of 210 mm.

The bike rides on aluminium hollow-section rims with KENDA “K1172” tyres in size 47-559, which are fitted with reflective strips. The front hub is the SHIMANO “DH-C3000-3N-NT” hub dynamo, whilst the rear wheel is fitted with a SHIMANO “Nexus” 3-speed hub.

The SELLE ROYAL “6026” saddle, mounted on a steel seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 250 mm, provides additional comfort. The bike is further equipped with BÜCHEL steel mudguards, a Flyer chain guard, an URSUS aluminium side stand and a luggage rack with a V-brace. The Pagoba ND Tiefein is therefore a reliable city bike that impresses in terms of both functionality and design.
