Excelsior Klapprad 24" Unisex

The “Klapprad 24 Unisex” from Excelsior, released in 2024, is a versatile and practical bicycle that is ideal for urban environments. Priced at 379 EUR, it offers good value for money. The frame is made from a sturdy steel folding frame and has a unisex size of 48 cm, making it suitable for a wide range of riders. Braking performance is provided by the PROMAX V-brake ‘TX123’, complemented by PROMAX aluminium brake levers, which ensure reliable deceleration. The 3-speed SHIMANO “Nexus” RBN gear system offers sufficient flexibility for urban cycling and is operated via the SHIMANO “Nexus” gear lever. The fork is a unicrown design, which contributes to stability and steering precision.

The lighting comprises the BÜCHEL “City Lux” LED front light and the BÜCHEL “Piccadilly” rear light with parking light function, both powered by a side-mounted dynamo. The hollow-section aluminium rims are fitted with KENDA “K924” tyres in size 47-507, which are used on both the front and rear wheels. The front hub is made of aluminium, whilst the rear hub is the SHIMANO “Nexus” 3-speed RBN. The spokes are made of zinc.

The SELLE ROYAL “Moody 8072” saddle ensures comfort, mounted on an aluminium seat post measuring Ø 27.2 x 350 mm. The mudguards are made of steel by BÜCHEL, and the chain guard is of the ‘Flyer’ type. An aluminium URSUS side stand and a steel luggage rack with a V-brace and spring-loaded flap round off the functional features of this folding bike.
