Electra Townie Path Go! 5i Step-Thru

The "Townie Path Go! 5i Step-Thru" model from Electra, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike that stands out thanks to its well-thought-out design and high-quality features. The frame is made from 6061-T6 aluminium and features the patented Flat Foot Technology®, which ensures a comfortable riding position. The maximum load capacity is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 25 kg, making it a robust companion.

The Townie Path Go! 5i Step-Thru’s braking system comprises Shimano MT-200 hydraulic calipers with 180 mm Shimano RT54 Centre Lock brake discs at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line motor with 250 watts and a torque of 65 Nm, enabling speeds of up to 25 km/h. The motor is powered by a vertically integrated Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, which is charged using a Bosch standard charger (4A).

A Shimano Nexus 5-speed twist shifter with an optical gear indicator is provided for gear changes, whilst the fork is made from aluminium with straight and tapered stanchions. Lighting is provided by a Supernova V521S front light and a Supernova E3 LED rear light, which ensure good visibility. The pedals are made of plastic and feature a grip-tape surface to ensure a secure grip.

The handlebars are aluminium with a custom bend, measuring 650 mm in width and with a rise of 100 mm. The grips are ergonomic Kraton grips from Electra Townie® with aluminium screw clamps for added comfort. The saddle, a Selle Royal Electra Gel comfort saddle, is fitted with shock-absorbing elastomers, whilst the seatpost is made of aluminium and features a Micro Adjust function.

The bike is fitted with Bontrager E6 Hard-Case Lite tyres in size 27.5" x 2.4", which feature a puncture-resistant belt and reflective strips. The wheelset consists of aluminium dual-chamber rims and a Shimano Nexus Inter-5E 5-speed hub. Other features include extruded aluminium mudguards, a MIK-compatible luggage rack with a tension strap, and a sturdy aluminium kickstand.

The Townie Path Go! 5i Step-Thru is fitted with a Bosch SmartphoneHub display, offering modern connectivity. The bike is available for €3,499 and offers a balanced combination of comfort, performance and style, ideal for urban use or leisurely rides.
