Electra Shibori Cruiser Go!

Electra’s “Shibori Cruiser Go!” model from 2024 is a stylish and functional e-bike which, at a price of EUR 1,999, represents an attractive option in the urban mobility sector. The frame is made from robust 6061-T6 aluminium and features the patented Flat Foot Technology®, which ensures a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. Weighing 20 kg and with a maximum load capacity of 136 kg, the bike is both lightweight and robust.

The mechanical disc brakes, with 180 mm discs at the front and rear, provide reliable stopping power, whilst the Unicrown fork, made from high-tensile steel, ensures stability and durability. Safety-related components, such as the Spanninga LED lighting system at the front and rear, increase visibility on the road. The plastic pedals with non-slip surfaces and the forged aluminium crankset with a 42-tooth chainring provide a solid foundation for efficient pedalling.

Power is transmitted via a KMC S1 chain, combined with a 16-tooth freewheel sprocket. The Electra Café handlebars and Electra Custom grips ensure comfortable handling, whilst the forged aluminium stem with an 80 mm extension contributes to optimal adjustment. The 26” x 2.35” balloon tyres on painted aluminium rims offer comfortable cushioning and increased stability on a variety of surfaces.

The Hyena rear hub motor, with an output of 250 W, is powered by a 252 Wh battery integrated into the down tube, which is also compatible with a range extender. The Hyena LED display allows for easy monitoring of the assistance levels and battery charge. The charger delivers 2 A at an output voltage of 42 V, ensuring efficient recharging of the battery.

Additional features such as the Electra Custom Shibori Go! saddle, the aluminium seatpost and the painted mudguards, as well as the rear-mounted aluminium kickstand, round off the overall package. With balanced geometry characterised by a head tube angle and seat tube angle of 67 degrees each, the Shibori Cruiser Go! offers a comfortable ride. The 117 mm wheelbase contributes to stability, whilst the reach, stack, seat tube length and standover height are designed to provide a comfortable fit for the rider.
