Electra Navigator Go! 5i

Electra’s “Navigator Go! 5i” model from 2022 is a high-quality e-bike priced at EUR 3,199. The frame is made from 6061-T6 aluminium and features a cold-forged top tube as well as the patented Flat Foot Technology®, which ensures a comfortable riding position. With a total weight of 26 kg and a maximum load capacity of 136 kg, the bike offers a solid and reliable platform for everyday use.

The Navigator Go! 5i’s braking system consists of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, combined with Shimano RT10 discs featuring a Centre Lock mount and a diameter of 180 mm, fitted to both the front and rear. Gear changes are controlled by a Shimano Nexus 5-speed twist shifter with a visual gear indicator, enabling simple and precise gear changes. The high-tensile steel unicrown fork contributes to the bike’s stability and durability.

Lighting is provided by the Spanninga LED light system at the front and rear, whilst the BMX aluminium platform pedals ensure a secure grip. The crankset is made of aluminium by ProWheel with a crank arm length of 170 mm, and the chainring is a 30-tooth Shimano model. Power is transmitted via a nickel-plated KMC Z1EHX chain.

The handlebars are an Electra Attitude model, complemented by bespoke grips and a threadless stem with four bolts. The headset is made of steel, is threadless and has a diameter of 1 1/8". The Vee Rubber Speedster tyres, measuring 26” x 2.8”, combined with the anodised aluminium rims – also in 26” – provide excellent road holding.

The retro faux-leather saddle with compression spring suspension provides additional comfort, whilst the aluminium seatpost with micro-adjustment function can be set to dimensions of 27.2 x 400 mm. Painted aluminium mudguards, a sturdy aluminium centre stand and the Bosch Performance Line motor with 250 watts of power and a torque of 65 Nm round off the specifications. The motor assists up to speeds of 25 km/h.

The Bosch PowerPack Performance 500 battery is mounted on the down tube and offers a capacity of 500 Wh. The system is controlled via the Bosch Purion display, whilst the standard charger, with an output of 4A (220–240 V), ensures efficient charging. The geometric dimensions, such as reach (29 mm), stack (63 mm), seat tube length (45 mm), head tube angle (67 degrees), seat tube angle (67 degrees), head tube length (24 mm), dropout height (77 mm) and wheelbase (119 mm) are optimally coordinated to ensure a comfortable and ergonomic riding position.
