Electra Cruiser Go! Step-Over

Electra’s “Cruiser Go! Step-Over” model from 2024 is a well-designed e-bike that impresses with both its technical features and its design. Priced at €1,699, it offers good value for money for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable means of transport. The frame is made from robust 6061-T6 aluminium and incorporates the patented Flat Foot Technology®, which ensures a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The maximum permissible weight is 136 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 20 kg, making it stable yet easy to handle.

Safety is ensured by mechanical disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at both the front and rear, which provide reliable braking performance. The Unicrown fork, made from high-tensile steel with straight/tapered stanchions, contributes to the bike’s stability and durability. The plastic pedals with non-slip surfaces ensure a secure grip whilst riding. The drivetrain features a KMC S1 with a 16-tooth freewheel sprocket, complemented by a forged aluminium crankset with a 42-tooth chainring and a torque sensor.

Particularly noteworthy is the Hyena rear hub motor with an output of 250 W, which is integrated into the down tube alongside a 252 Wh battery and is compatible with a range extender. The Hyena LED display offers simple operation and an overview of the e-bike’s key functions. The saddle – the Electra Comfort model with elastomer shock absorption – and the aluminium seat post contribute significantly to riding comfort.
