The TX18 model from the e-bike manufaktur brand, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike priced at 5,599 EUR, placing it in the upper mid-range. The TX18’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is fitted with a Bosch interface and 100 mm of suspension travel, ensuring a robust and comfortable ride. Weighing 30 kg, the e-bike is solid and stable.

The braking system comprises Shimano Deore BR-MT410 disc brakes with a diameter of 180 mm at both the front and rear, complemented by Shimano Deore BL-MT401 brake levers, which ensure reliable braking performance. The derailleur is a Shimano Deore XT RD-M8000, 11-speed, Shadow Plus, which, together with the Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shift levers, enables precise and responsive gear changes.

The suspension is provided by a Suntour Mobie25 Air fork with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function. The Rock Shox Monarch RT shock absorber provides additional damping to effectively absorb bumps. The lighting comprises a Supernova Mini 2 Pro front light with a high-beam function and a Busch & Müller Shine Evo LED rear light, which is integrated into the luggage rack and features a parking light.

Further features include Marwi SP-102 flat aluminium pedals, a Miranda aluminium crankset with a 38-tooth chainring, and Shimano SLX CS-M7000 sprockets with an 11–46-tooth range. The drivetrain is powered by a KMC E11 EPT chain. The handlebars are Humpert Ergotec ergonomic handlebars with a width of 680 mm, combined with Ergon GP1 grips and a Humpert Ergotec Barracuda stem.

The rims are Schürmann YAK 25 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims with 36 holes, fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, which provide good grip and comfort. The hubs are Shimano Alivio models, renowned for their stability and durability. The saddle is an Ergon SFC30, mounted on a Humpert Ergotec Atar seatpost.

In addition, the TX18 features Racktime Wingee aluminium mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand and a frame-integrated luggage rack with the Racktime system and a spring-loaded flap. The e-bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX Gen. 4 mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts. The fully integrated Bosch frame battery has a capacity of 625 Wh, and the Nyon display features a 3.2-inch colour touchscreen with remote control for user-friendly operation.
