The TX18 model from the e-bike manufaktur brand, launched in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike priced at 4,929 EUR, placing it in the upper mid-range. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is specially fitted with a Bosch interface, enabling seamless integration of the fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor. This mid-drive motor delivers 250 watts and is powered by a fully integrated lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensuring a solid range.

Weighing 30 kg, the TX18 is robust and stable without compromising on agility. The suspension consists of a Suntour Mobie25 Air fork with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, as well as a Rock Shox Monarch RT shock absorber, ensuring a comfortable ride on a wide variety of terrain. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT RD-M8000, an 11-speed rear derailleur which, in combination with the Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shifter, operates precisely and reliably. The Shimano SLX cassette offers a range of 11–46 teeth and works seamlessly with the Miranda aluminium crankset, which features a 38-tooth chainring.

Safety is ensured by the Shimano BR-MT400 brakes, fitted with 180 mm discs at both the front and rear, which are controlled by the Shimano BL-MT401 brake levers. The lighting comprises a Busch & Müller IQ-XS-E front light with 70 LUX and a parking light, as well as a Busch & Müller Shine Evo LED rear light, also with a parking light function, which ensure good visibility in the dark.

The TX18 is also fitted with ergonomic components, such as the Humpert Ergotec Ergobügel handlebars and Ergon GP1 grips, which, together with the Ergon SFC30 saddle and the Humpert Ergotec Atar seatpost, ensure a high level of riding comfort. The Schürmann YAK 25 Disc aluminium hollow-chamber rims are fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, which offer additional safety thanks to their reflective strips.

Practical features such as the frame-integrated luggage rack with Racktime system and spring-loaded flap, as well as the Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand, round off the equipment package. With all these components, the TX18 offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and functionality, making it an attractive choice for discerning e-bike riders.
