The “8CHT Continental Revolution” model from the “e-bike manufaktur” brand, released in 2020, is a high-quality e-bike available at a price of 4,619 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is fitted with a Continental interface, bringing the bike’s total weight to 25 kg. The braking system comprises Shimano Deore components with 160 mm disc brakes and matching 3-finger brake levers, ensuring reliable braking performance. The Rock Shox Paragon Gold Solo Air suspension fork, also made from aluminium, ensures a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Busch & Müller Lumotec IQ-XS front light with 70 LUX and a Busch & Müller Toplight 2C rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The Marwi SP-823 aluminium pedals and the Lasco aluminium crankset with a Gates CDX sprocket – each with 24 teeth – complement the drivetrain, which is completed by a Gates CDX drive belt.

The Levelnine handlebars are an aluminium trekking model with a 9° angle and a width of 660 mm. The Herrmans DD37 grips with screw clamps offer additional comfort. The bike is fitted with SKS plastic mudguards, a Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand and a Racktime luggage rack without struts but with a spring-loaded flap. Power is provided by a Continental Revolution mid-drive motor with an output of 250 watts. The fully integrated Continental frame battery has a capacity of 48 volts and 12.5 Ah and consists of lithium-ion cells. The Continental display with Bluetooth functionality provides the rider with comprehensive information and connectivity options.
