The 8CHT model from e-bike manufaktur, launched in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike that impresses with a host of technical refinements and well-thought-out features. Priced at EUR 5,599, it is aimed at discerning riders who value quality and performance. The 6061 aluminium frame with Bosch interface provides a robust and stable base, whilst the bike’s total weight is 30 kg.

Reliable braking performance is ensured by the Shimano Deore BR-M6000 disc brakes, each with a diameter of 180 mm, fitted to both the front and rear. The brake levers are also from the Shimano Deore range, model BL-T6000. The continuously variable Enviolo TR CVP gear system with freewheel is operated via an Enviolo CT twist grip, allowing for convenient adjustment of the gear ratio. The Suntour Mobie25 Air fork, with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, provides comfortable suspension on uneven terrain.

To ensure optimum visibility, the e-bike is fitted with a Supernova Mini 2 Pro front light, which provides 160/100 LUX and features both a high beam and a parking light. The rear light from Busch & Müller, the Shine Evo LED model, is integrated into the luggage rack and also features a parking light function. Power is transmitted via a low-maintenance Gates CDX drive belt, combined with a Miranda aluminium crankset and Gates CDX pulleys.

Comfort is enhanced by the Humpert Ergotec City Cruiser handlebars and Ergon GP1 grips with screw clamps. The angle-adjustable Humpert Ergotec Octopus 50 stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. The Ryde Andra 40 Disc aluminium hollow-section rims, combined with Schwalbe Super Moto-X tyres, ensure a stable and safe ride.

The e-bike is fitted with a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor, delivering 250 watts of power. The fully integrated Bosch frame battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures sustained assistance on long rides. The Nyon display, featuring a 3.2-inch colour touchscreen and remote function, provides all key information at a glance.

Additional features such as the frame-integrated luggage rack with the Racktime system and spring-loaded flap, the aluminium mudguards from Racktime Wingee, and the Pletscher Comp Flex rear stand round off the overall package of the 8CHT model. The Selle Royal Essenza saddle, combined with the Humpert Ergotec Atar seatpost, ensures a comfortable ride even on longer journeys.
