Cube Travel EXC oatgrey´n´taupe

The "Travel EXC oatgrey’n’taupe" model from Cube, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust bicycle designed for urban use. It is available at a price of 1,399 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite, Urban, double-butted aluminium, which gives it high stability and a low weight. The maximum load capacity is 140 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 14 kg.

Safety is ensured by Shimano BR-MT410 hydraulic disc brakes with a 160 mm diameter on both the front and rear wheels. The gears are operated via the Shimano Alfine SL-S7000 gear lever, and the rigid fork is also made of aluminium. The lighting comprises a CUBE IQ-XS-Friendly N Plus front light and an ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-D rear light, which is powered by 6V AC.

The bike is fitted with VP 615M pedals and features a Gates S150 CDN crankset with 46 teeth and a length of 170 mm, as well as a BB Thun Zumba bottom bracket. Power is transmitted via a Gates CDX belt with 113 teeth. The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars, 660 mm wide, complemented by ACID Travel Comfort grips. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm, whilst the headset is from VP and is semi-integrated.

The rims are CUBE EX21, 32H, disc and tubeless-ready. The tyres fitted are Schwalbe Marathon Mondial with Kevlar, sized 37-622. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 with a hub dynamo, quick-release and Centre Lock, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Alfine SG-S700 with 8 speeds.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence+, mounted on a CUBE Performance Post seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place by a CUBE Screwlock with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The bike is also fitted with ACID 45 BB-Mount mudguards, an adjustable CUBEstand Pro kickstand, and an ACID Semi-Integrated Carrier luggage rack, which is compatible with the ACID RILink adapter.

The packaging dimensions are 260 mm wide, 935 mm high and 1685 mm long. The gross weight of the packaging is 19,300 g. The Cube Travel EXC oatgrey’n’taupe thus offers an excellent combination of functionality, stability and comfort for everyday use in the city.
