Cube Touring Hybrid ONE 400 grey´n´black

The “Touring Hybrid ONE 400 grey’n’black” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a versatile e-bike available at a price of 2049 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and utilises Gravity Casting Technology, resulting in optimised Efficient Comfort Geometry. The frame features a tapered head tube, a fully integrated battery and a semi-integrated luggage rack. The bike’s total weight is 24 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano RD-M3100-SGS 9-speed rear derailleur and a Shimano SL-M3100-R Rapidfire-Plus shifter. The SR Suntour XCM ATB coil suspension fork offers 100 mm of travel, providing extra comfort on uneven terrain.

The lighting comprises a CUBE Shiny front light with 50 lux and a CUBE Edge IC 2.0 rear light, both powered by 12V DC. The pedals are ACID PP trekking models, whilst the crankset is an ACID E-Crank with 38 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG201 with a 11–36-tooth range, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are 700 mm wide CUBE Comfort Trail Bars and the grips are CUBE Performance Grips. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset varies depending on frame size, but always features a zero-stack design.

The rims are CUBE EX23 models, which are tubeless-ready and fitted with 36 spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Big Ben Performance, sized 55-622. The hubs are Shimano HB-TX505 at the front and Shimano FH-TX505 at the rear, both with quick-release skewers and CentreLock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence Comfort model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The saddle is clamped using a CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 34.9 mm. ACID 65 mudguards, a CUBEstand Cmpt kickstand and an ACID semi-integrated luggage rack complete the specification.

The bike is powered by a Bosch Drive Unit Active Plus Generation 3 (50Nm) Cruise (250Watt) motor, which is powered by a Bosch PowerTube 400 battery. The display is a Bosch Purion model, which allows for simple and intuitive operation.
