Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro 625 desert´n´orange

The "Reaction Hybrid Pro 625 desert’n’orange" model from Cube, released in 2022, is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike available at a price of 2949 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and features Gravity Casting technology and Agile Ride Geometry. It also features a 1.5 head tube, internal cable routing and a fully integrated battery. Mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack are also provided.

The bike is fitted with Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which feature 180 mm discs at both the front and rear to ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore RD-M5100-SGS 11-speed system, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M5100 Rapidfire-Plus shifter. The X-Fusion MIG32 Air fork, featuring a tapered head tube, a 15x110 mm thru-axle, 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures optimum damping and control on uneven terrain.

Other features include CUBE PP MTB pedals and an ACID E-Crank crankset with a length of 175 mm and 38 teeth. The Shimano Deore CS-M5100 cassette offers a range of 11–51 teeth and is driven by a KMC X11 chain. The handlebars are a 720 mm wide CUBE Rise Trail Bar, complemented by ACID React Pro grips and a CUBE Performance Stem E-MTB stem with a 31.8 mm diameter.

The headset system varies depending on the wheel size: the 27.5-inch version features the ACROS AZX-1032 BlockLock 120°, whilst the 29-inch version uses the ACROS AZX-1030. Both versions feature Zero-Stack bearings with a diameter of 1 1/2 inches at the top and bottom. The rims are CUBE EX30 models with 32 spokes, which are tubeless-ready. The Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres in size 2.6 provide excellent grip and traction.

The front hub is a Shimano HB-MT400-B with a 15 mm thru-axle and Boost standard, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX505 with a quick-release skewer; both feature a CentreLock design. The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm and secured by a CUBE Varioclose seatpost clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

Power is provided by the Bosch Drive Unit Performance CX Generation 4 motor, with a maximum torque of 85 Nm and an output of 250 watts. Power is supplied by the Bosch PowerTube 625 battery, which is controlled via the Bosch Purion display. A Bosch 2A charger is also included in the package.
