Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance 500

The 2021 "Reaction Hybrid Performance 500" from Cube is an e-mountain bike available for 2349 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium with Gravity Casting and Agile Ride Geometry. It features a tapered head tube and a fully integrated battery, ensuring a clean look and improved stability. The internal cable routing and mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack highlight the model’s versatility. The total weight is 24 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200) with 180 mm rotors at the front and rear. The drivetrain is a Shimano RD-M3100-SGS 9-speed system, operated via the Shimano SL-M3100-R Rapidfire-Plus shift lever. The SR Suntour XCM ATB Coil fork offers 100 mm of travel and ensures comfort and control off-road.

The hubs are Shimano HB-TX505 at the front and Shimano FH-TX505 at the rear, both with quick-release skewers and CentreLock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The saddle is clamped using the CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm. ACID 65 mudguards and the CUBEstand Cmpt kickstand complete the spec.
