Cube Reaction 240 Pro teamline

The 2023 "Reaction 240 Pro Teamline" model from Cube is a high-quality children’s bike that stands out for its top-class specifications and low weight. Priced at 879 EUR, it offers an excellent combination of performance and durability. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite 6061, which makes the bike both robust and lightweight. The maximum load capacity is 80 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 8 kg, making it particularly easy to handle and manoeuvre.

For the brakes, Cube has opted for Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes with 140 mm discs at the front and rear, which ensure reliable braking power. The gear system is a Microshift Advent RD-M6195M with 9 speeds, operated by the Microshift SL-M8195 Xpress Shifter. This enables precise and rapid gear changes, which is particularly advantageous on varied terrain.

The bike’s fork is a CUBE Kids Carbon with internal cable routing and a flat-mount disc mount, as well as a 12x100 mm axle standard, which contributes to stability and low weight. The crankset is a CUBE model with 32 teeth and a length of 152 mm, fitted with a chain guard for added safety. The cassette is a Microshift CS-H093 with a 11–42T range, offering a wide variety of gear ratios.

Power is transmitted via a KMC X9 chain, which is renowned for its durability. The handlebars are AR CUBE aluminium, 580 mm wide and 25.4 mm in diameter, complemented by Natural Fit Kids grips with a diameter of 19 mm for optimum grip. The stem is also made from AR CUBE Aluminium Lite, whilst the headset is a CUBE A-Headset.

The tyres are Schwalbe Rocket Ron Kevlar, 2.1 inches wide, which provide excellent traction and riding comfort. The saddle is a CUBE Kid saddle, specially designed for children, mounted on a CUBE Aluminium Lite seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Varoclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
