Cube Nuroad Rookie smokeyfir´n´orange

The "Nuroad Rookie smokeyfir’n’orange" model from Cube, released in 2023, is a versatile gravel bike that stands out for its high-quality components and robust construction. The frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and, with its Gravel Comfort Geometry, offers a comfortable riding position. It is also fitted with flat-mount disc brakes and offers options for mudguards and a luggage rack. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, which is indicative of its solid build quality.

The bike’s brakes are Tektro MD-C510 Flat Mount disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at the front and rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano GRX RD-RX400 10-speed rear derailleur and the Shimano Tiagra ST-4700 shift lever. The front derailleur is also a Shimano GRX FD-RX400, ensuring precise and smooth gear changes.

The Nuroad Rookie’s fork is made from full carbon and is compatible with Flat Mount disc brakes. It has a tapered design (1 1/8" – 1 1/4" tapered) and offers mounting points for mudguards and lowrider luggage racks. The crankset is a Shimano GRX FC-RX600 with a 46x30T gear ratio, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG50 with an 11-36T range. Power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Gravel Race Bars, wrapped in ACID CX bar tape, ensuring a secure and comfortable grip. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem SLX with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset system consists of a VP Z-t Top Zero-Stack (1 1/8" OD 44 mm) and an integrated bottom headset (1 1/4").

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround Kevlar tyres in size 40-584, fitted to a CUBE GR 2.3 Disc wheelset. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite, fitted to a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using the CUBE Nuroad Integrated Seat Clamp.
