Cube Nuroad FE black´n´metalgrey

The "Nuroad FE black’n’metalgrey" model from Cube, released in 2022, offers a balanced combination of performance and versatility at a price of 999 EUR. The frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and features Gravel Comfort Geometry, which ensures a comfortable riding position. The frame also features flat-mount disc brakes and provisions for mudguards and a luggage rack.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro MD-C510 Flat Mount disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at the front and rear. Gear shifting is handled by Shimano Claris components, including the RD-R2000-GS 8-speed rear derailleur, the FD-R2000-BM front derailleur and the ST-R2000 shift levers. These components deliver precise and reliable shifting performance.

The fork is a CUBE Nuroad Full Carbon fork with flat-mount disc mounts, a 1 1/8" – 1 1/4" tapered head tube and mounting points for mudguards and a lowrider. Lighting is provided by the CUBE Shiny 50 front light and the ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-D rear light, both of which ensure good visibility in low-light conditions.

The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Claris FC-R2000 crankset with 50x34T chainrings and a Shimano CS-HG31 cassette with an 11-34T range. The chain is a KMC Z8.3, which is renowned for its durability. The handlebars are CUBE Compact Race Bars, wrapped in ACID Bartape CX for added comfort.

The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with internal cable routing for the lights and has a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset consists of a VP Z-t Top Zero-Stack 1 1/8" (OD 44 mm) and a Bottom Integrated 1 1/4". The rims are CUBE GR 2.3 Disc, fitted with Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres in size 40-622, which provide a good balance between speed and grip.

The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D32 hub dynamo with quick-release, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano HB-TX506 with quick-release and a 6-bolt mount. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is secured using a CUBE Screwlock clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The bike is also fitted with ACID 50 mudguards, an ACID Pro Flat Mount kickstand and an ACID SL Carrier luggage rack, making it an ideal companion for longer rides and everyday use.
