Cube Nuride Hybrid Performance 500 Allroad

The 2021 “Nuride Hybrid Performance 500 Allroad” model from Cube is a versatile e-bike designed for a range of uses. Priced at 2349 EUR, this bike offers solid specifications and modern technology.

The bike’s frame is made from Superlite aluminium and utilises Gravity Casting Technology. This construction ensures an efficient, comfort-oriented geometry whilst guaranteeing stability and durability. The frame is also fitted with a tapered head tube and a fully integrated battery. For added functionality, the frame features mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack. The bike’s total weight is 26 kg.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm discs at both the front and rear. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano RD-M2000-SGS 9-speed rear derailleur and the Shimano SL-M2010-9R Rapidfire-Plus shifter, ensuring precise and reliable gear changes. The SR Suntour XCM ATB Coil fork with 100 mm of travel ensures a comfortable ride on a variety of surfaces.

The bike’s lighting is provided by the CUBE Shiny front light (50 lux) and the ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-E, both powered by 12V DC. The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars, 720 mm wide, fitted with CUBE Performance grips. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is an ACROS AZX-1041 BlockLock with a 135° angle-limiting system and Zero-Stack configurations at the top (1 1/8") and bottom (1 1/2").

The rims are CUBE EX23, 32H, disc, tubeless-ready, and the tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam with K-Guard in size 2.35. The front hub is a Shimano HB-TX505 and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX505, both with quick-release (QR) mechanisms and CentreLock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence Comfort model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The saddle is clamped using the CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 34.9 mm. The bike is also fitted with ACID 65 mudguards and a CUBEstand Cmpt kickstand.

The e-bike is powered by the Bosch Drive Unit Performance Generation 3 motor, delivering 65 Nm of torque and 250 watts of power. The Bosch PowerTube 500 battery provides the power supply, whilst the Bosch Purion display clearly shows all the key information.
