Cube Ella Ride Hybrid 500 avocado´n´cream

The "Ella Ride Hybrid 500 avocado’n’cream" model from Cube, released in 2022, is a high-quality e-bike priced at 2,649 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and features Comfort Ride Geometry, which ensures a comfortable riding position. The frame has a tapered head tube, a semi-integrated luggage rack and a fully integrated battery. The slider dropouts allow for easy adjustment of the rear wheel.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT420/MT410) with 180 mm rotors at the front and rear. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore RD-M5120-SGS 10-speed system, operated via the Shimano Deore SL-M4100-IR shifter, which is renowned for precise and rapid gear changes. The SR Suntour NEX-E25 fork, with 50 mm of travel, offers additional comfort and shock absorption on uneven roads.

The lighting comprises the Trelock Bike-i Retro Ebike front light and the CUBE Edge IC 2.0 rear light, both powered by 12V DC. The pedals are ACID PP Trekking, which ensure a secure grip. The crankset is an ACID E-Crank, 165 mm in length, with a 38T chainring, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with a range of 11–46T. Power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Shape Bars, combined with CUBE Retro grips and a CUBE Comfort City Stem with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH885B. The rims are CUBE SX24 with 36 spokes and disc brake mounts, fitted with Schwalbe Big Ben tyres in size 50-622.

The hubs are by Shimano: at the front, the HB-M4050 with quick-release and CentreLock mount; at the rear, the FH-M4050, also with quick-release and CentreLock mount. The saddle is a CUBE Retro model, mounted on a CUBE Performance Post seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm and secured by a CUBE Screwlock seatpost clamp with a 36 mm clamp.

SKS Chrom Shiny mudguards are fitted to protect against dirt and moisture. An ACID Pro Flat Mount kickstand ensures the bike stands securely when parked. The luggage rack is an ACID Semi-Integrated Carrier, which is compatible with the ACID RILink adapter.

The e-bike is powered by the Bosch Drive Unit Active Plus Generation 3 (50 Nm) Cruise (250 W) motor, which is powered by a Bosch PowerTube 500 battery. The Bosch Purion display offers simple and intuitive operation, whilst the Bosch 2A charger is responsible for recharging the battery.
