Cube Elite C:68X SL teamline

The 2021 "Elite C:68X SL teamline" model from Cube is a high-end mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 5049 EUR, this bike offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components.

The frame of the Elite C:68X SL teamline is constructed using C:68X Monocoque Advanced Twin Mold Technology and features ARG2, a tapered head tube, a PressFit bottom bracket (BB), Boost 12x148mm axles and integrated cable routing. The bike’s total weight is just 8 kg, making it one of the lightest models in its class.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano XTR BR-M9100 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The drivetrain consists of the Shimano XTR RD-M9100-SGS ShadowPlus with 12 speeds, controlled by the Shimano XTR SL-M9100-I shifter, which is directly mounted.

Suspension is provided by the Fox 32 Float SC FIT4 Factory fork with a Kashima coating and 100 mm of travel. This fork is tapered and features a 15x110 mm axle, as well as a 2-position remote lever for easy adjustment whilst riding.

The drivetrain comprises the Shimano XTR FC-M9100-1 crankset with 34 teeth and a crank arm length of 175 mm (170 mm for size S), as well as the Shimano XTR CS-M9100-12 cassette with a 10–51-tooth range and the Shimano CN-M9100 chain.

The handlebars are Newmen Advanced SL 318.0 carbon handlebars with a width of 740 mm, complemented by Cube Race SL grips with a diameter of 29.5 mm and a 1-clamp attachment. The stem is a Newmen Evolution SL 318.2 with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is an Acros AzX/AiX with a block lock, semi-integrated at the top (1 1/8") and at the bottom (1 1/2").

The tyres are Schwalbe Racing Ray Super Race Addix Speedgrip Kevlar in size 2.25 at the front and Schwalbe Racing Ralph Super Race Addix Speed Kevlar, also in size 2.25, at the rear. The wheelset consists of Newmen Advanced SL X.A.25 carbon rims with 28 spokes at the front and rear, tubeless-ready, and axles measuring 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Nuance SLT Carbon, mounted on a Newmen Advanced Custom carbon seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The seatpost clamp is a CUBE Superlight with a diameter of 30.8 mm.
