Cube Cross Hybrid Pro 500 Allroad desert´n´orange

The "Cross Hybrid Pro 500 Allroad desert’n’orange" model from Cube, released in 2021, is a versatile e-bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer rides. Priced at 2649 EUR, it offers solid specifications and modern technology.

The bike’s frame is made from Superlite aluminium and utilises Gravity Casting Technology, which ensures high stability and durability. The Efficient Comfort Geometry ensures a comfortable riding position, whilst the tapered head tube and fully integrated battery complete the package. The bike weighs a total of 23 kg and features various mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of an 11-speed Shimano Deore RD-M5100-SGS, controlled by the Shimano Deore SL-M5000 Rapidfire Plus shift levers. The SR Suntour XCM ATB Coil fork, with 100 mm of travel, offers comfort and control on uneven trails.

The bike is fitted with a CUBE Shiny front light (50 lux) and an ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-E rear light, both powered by 12V DC. The pedals are ACID PP Trekking, which ensure a secure grip. The crankset consists of an ACID E-Crank with 38 teeth and a length of 175 mm, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M5100 with a range of 11–51 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X11 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars, 700 mm wide, complemented by Natural Fit All Terrain grips. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is an ACROS AZF-1039 with Zero-Stack technology.

The rims are CUBE EX23, 36H, disc and tubeless-ready, fitted with Schwalbe Land Cruiser tyres (55-622). The hubs are from Shimano: the HB-TX505 at the front and the FH-TX505 at the rear, both with QR and Centerlock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence Comfort model, mounted on a CUBE Suspension seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The saddle is clamped using a CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 34.9 mm. ACID 65 mudguards and a CUBEstand Cmpt kickstand complete the specification.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 motor, delivering 85 Nm of torque and 250 watts of power. The Bosch PowerTube 500 battery ensures a sufficient range, whilst the Bosch Purion display makes operation straightforward.
