Cube Attain SL grey´n´black

The "Attain SL grey'n'black" model from Cube, released in 2022, is a high-quality road bike that stands out for its excellent build quality and the use of top-class components. The price for this model is 1,599 EUR.

The Attain SL’s frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium, which is particularly light and strong thanks to double-butted technology and smooth welded seams. The 3D Flat Mount disc brake dropouts ensure optimum braking performance, whilst the Road Comfort Geometry allows for a comfortable riding position. In addition, the frame offers the option to fit mudguards and uses a 12x142mm thru-axle system.

For the brakes, Cube has opted for Shimano 105 BR-R7070 hydraulic disc brakes with Flat Mount technology and 160mm rotors at the front and rear. These provide excellent braking power and reliable performance in all conditions. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano 105 RD-R7000-DGS 11-speed rear derailleur, which enables precise and fast gear changes. The Attain SL’s fork is the CUBE CSL Race Disc, which is made entirely of carbon and features a tapered design (1 1/8" – 1 1/4" tapered). It is also fitted with flat-mount brake mounts and a 12x100mm thru-axle system. The crankset consists of the Shimano 105 FC-R7000 with a 50x34T gear ratio, combined with a Shimano 105 CS-HG700 cassette offering a range of 11–34T. Power is transmitted via the Shimano CN-HG600-11 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Compact Race Bars, which provide an ergonomic grip position to enhance comfort on long rides. The handlebar tape is ACID Bartape RD, which provides additional grip and comfort. The stem is the CUBE Performance Stem SL with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset consists of a VP Z-t system, which uses a zero-stack (1 1/8", OD 44 mm) bearing at the top and an integrated (1 1/4") bearing at the bottom.

The tyres are Conti Ultra Sport 3 SL with Kevlar reinforcement in size 28-622, which are renowned for their durability and good grip. The wheelset is the CUBE RA 1.9 Aero Disc, which also utilises thru-axles (12x100mm at the front and 12x142mm at the rear) and is highly regarded for its aerodynamic properties.

The setup is rounded off by the CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2mm and the CUBE Screwlock seat clamp with a diameter of 31.8mm, which ensures the saddle is securely fastened.
