Cube Attain SL grey´n´black

The "Attain SL grey'n'black" model from Cube, released in 2021, is a high-quality road bike that stands out for its technical features and well-thought-out geometry. The frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium, which is particularly light and sturdy thanks to the double-butted construction and smooth welds. Weighing just 9 kg, the bike offers impressive lightness, which is particularly noticeable on climbs and when accelerating. The Road Comfort Geometry ensures a comfortable riding position, making even longer rides comfortable. The frame also features 3D Flat Mount disc brake dropouts, the option to fit mudguards, and a 12x142 mm thru-axle.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano 105 BR-R7070 hydraulic disc brakes with Flat Mount and 160 mm rotors at the front and rear. These brakes offer reliable deceleration and control in a wide range of conditions. The drivetrain is fitted with the Shimano 105 RD-R7000-DGS, an 11-speed rear derailleur that enables precise and smooth gear changes. The front derailleur is also from Shimano: the FD-R7000 model with a 31.8 mm clamp.

The Attain SL’s fork is made from full carbon (CUBE CSL Race Disc), which helps to reduce the overall weight whilst also providing excellent vibration damping. The fork has a tapered head tube (1 1/8" – 1 1/4" tapered) and is also fitted with a flat mount and a 12x100 mm thru-axle.

The Shimano FC-RS510 crankset is available in different lengths depending on frame size: 170 mm for sizes 50/53 cm, 172.5 mm for 56/58 cm and 175 mm for 60/62 cm. It is fitted with chainrings in the 50x34T configuration. The Shimano 105 CS-HG700 cassette offers a range of 11–34T, providing a good balance between speed and climbing ability. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Compact Race Bars, combined with a CUBE Performance Stem SL with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a VP Z-t, Top Zero-Stack 1 1/8" (OD 44 mm), Bottom Integrated 1 1/4".

Contact with the road is provided by Conti Ultra Sport 3 tyres in size 28-622, fitted to a CUBE RA 1.9 Aero Disc wheelset. The Natural Fit Venec Lite saddle, together with the CUBE Performance Post seatpost (27.2 mm) and the CUBE Screwlock seat clamp (31.8 mm), offers comfort and stability.
