The "Aim SL graphite´n´metal" model from Cube, released in 2022, is a versatile mountain bike that stands out thanks to its high-quality components and well-thought-out design. Priced at 749 EUR, it offers excellent value for money for ambitious beginners and advanced cyclists.

The bike’s frame is made from Aluminium Lite, which has been shaped using Advanced Mechanical Forming (AMF) technology and features a double-butted construction. These features ensure an optimal combination of lightness and stability. The frame also features internal cable routing, a tapered head tube and a flat-mount brake mount. Additional mounting options are provided by the SIC Mount and the FM kickstand mount.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – specifically the BR-MT200/UR300 model – with 160 mm discs at both the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano RD-M3100-SGS 9-speed rear derailleur, combined with the Shimano SL-M2010-9R Rapidfire-Plus shifter and a Shimano FD-M2020 front derailleur. These components ensure precise and reliable gear changes.

The RockShox Judy Silver TK Coil fork, with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, contributes to a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The bike is rounded off by the Natural Fit Venec Lite saddle, which is mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using the CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
