Cube Aim SL Allroad teal´n´black

The “Aim SL Allroad teal’n’black” model from Cube, released in 2022, is a versatile mountain bike available for 849 EUR. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite and features Advanced Mechanical Forming (AMF) technology. Thanks to its double-butted construction, the frame is lightweight yet sturdy. The internal cable routing ensures a clean, tidy look, whilst the tapered head tube enhances steering stiffness and precision. The frame is also fitted with flat-mount brake mounts and a SIC mount, which makes it easier to fit accessories. An FM kickstand mount is also included.

The braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200/UR300), which provide reliable stopping power. Shifting is handled by a Shimano RD-M3100-SGS rear derailleur with 9 speeds, controlled by Shimano SL-M2010-9R Rapidfire-Plus shift levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M2020 Top Swing with a 31.8mm clamp. The RockShox Judy Silver TK Coil fork offers 100mm of travel and a lockout function, making it ideal for varied terrain.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a CUBE Shiny 50 front light and an ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-D rear light, powered via a 6V AC connection. The pedals are CUBE PP MTB models. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-MT101 with 36x22T chainrings, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG201 with 11-36T. The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Rise Trail Bars with a width of 680mm; the grips are ACID React models. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem Pro with a diameter of 31.8mm. The headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH868, 1 1/8" at the top and 1 1/2" at the bottom. The rims are CUBE ZX20 with 32 holes and disc brake mounts. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam, Active, with a width of 2.25 inches.

The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D32 with a hub dynamo and quick-release, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano HB-TX506 with a quick-release and a 6-hole disc brake mount. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2mm. The saddle is clamped in place by a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8mm.

The bike is also fitted with ACID 65 mudguards, an ACID Pro Flat Mount kickstand and an ACID semi-integrated luggage rack, which is compatible with the ACID RILink adapter and rail.
